Minutes of the Annual General Meeting

Saturday 23^rd February 2002 held at

Hemel Hempstead Sports Centre

Members were welcomed to the meeting by Jim McNally. Saying that even though we are not the Governing body of diving we are allowed to have a view.  Jim spoke of the lack of quality facilities and new facilities need to be looked after.

The minutes of the previous meeting held on 8^th April, 2001 were approved.

Reports.

There was no report from the Administration Director

Jim explained that the database was now with the admin director and that the web site was the main base for communications.

There was still a problem with communications because everyone had a full time job and therefore could only do GBDF work in their spare time.

People were asked to notify the admin director of any change of address or e-mail address.

Finance

Janet Ward was trying to sort out money owing by various people, and the accounts were waiting to be audited.   There were some regional accounts not being used.  It was decided to close these accounts. See attached report.

Marketing

Letter had gone to various companies asking for sponsorship – replies were awaited.
