It hardly seems possible that we have reached that time of year again, but it is, and here to prove it are the conditions and entry forms for the 2004 Winter Masters, along with a medical info sheet that we would ask you to fill in and bring along in a sealed envelope with your name on the outside.

Following comments that have been made about the event over the last year, we have attempted to try and improve the competitions for everyone by making them a bit more fun and allowing them to progress through a bit more smoothly. Could I ask all divers to check the conditions for their events very carefully, and also any novices to check the age groups they are in.

To do this we have dropped the hat competition as it stands, and added an element of unpredictability to the main competition! In this divers can either choose their own dive for the final dive of the competition, or they can choose to have one from the hat. There is a small tariff incentive to go for the hat, but not knowing what is going to come out………….

The hat will, as before, contain only basic dives, but in order to speed it up a little, divers must choose the board when they enter their dive sheet.

The plan is to run all the main competitions on the Saturday, with the Synchro event on the Sunday, however, this is dependent on the number of entries we receive and it could possibly change.

Maidstone Diving Pool The Maidstone club have put together an excellent package for us at this event, and have organised a party venue for us, this has enabled us to cost in the evening function completely, with the obvious exception of any alcohol costs that you may incur, although being athletes this would of course be minor?

Please get your entries in as early as possible this time, and before the closing date, so we know what we are doing, and can let you all know what the programme will be with a bit more accuracy.
