Well our next competition is the Summer Masters that we are holding in Manchester 10/11th September 2005. The conditions and entry forms can be accessed from the links on the left. Tariff sheets can be found here.

Note: The pool will be available for training from 5pm to 8pm on Friday 9th September.

Following comments from divers in Italy where suggestions were made for a change in the competition conditions, we have attempted to try and improve the competitions for this event by making them a bit more challenging and allowing for time constraints. The suggestion was that we did an Open Competition. After much discussion the Board agreed that we have 3 age groups for the main competition combining the 1m and 3m Springboards together. Could I ask all divers to check the conditions for their events very carefully, and also any novices to check the age groups and the amount of dives.

The plan is to run all the main competitions on the Saturday, with the Highboard event on the Sunday, however, this is dependent on the number of entries we receive and it could possibly change.

The Manchester club has organized accommodation at the local Premier Travel Inn. Details below:-

When booking, ask for Diane or Andrea who are on duty between 7am - 3pm Monday to Saturday. This agreement is only for bookings made before the 1^st August and there are a limited number of rooms.

A party venue has been organized which is next to the hotel at a cost of £12 per person - this includes a disco and buffet - on the Saturday evening with the obvious exception of any alcohol costs that you may incur, although being athletes this would of course be minor?

Please get your entries in as early as possible before the closing date, and then we can let you all know what the programme will be with a bit more accuracy.
