Fred Jessop

Diving in the North of England suffered a sad loss today with the sudden death of Fred Jessop. Fred has had many years involvement in diving coaching divers at all levels, including taking Naomi Bishop to the Olympic Games and was a recognisable figure at Championship events across the country. Although not heavily involved in recent years, he still took an active interest in the sport and has been a welcome guest at our Masters events in Derby over the last few years.

Fred was taken ill suddenly on Friday afternoon and died in hospital early on Saturday Morning.
