The 5m and 7.5m boards are currently in the process of being refurbished and the pool will hopefully be re-opened early in the new year. - Niki |

The 5 metre, 7.5 metre and 10 metre platforms have been closed after changes in health and safety regulations. Diving times are restricted. - Jennie McColl |

After refurbishing the platforms; new ladders, railings and non-slip surfaces it was decided that they did not protrude far enough over the water to be safe... So once again they are closed and awaiting engineers/architects to decide their fate!! - Jennie |

Nothing seems to have been done since, been a while like this. Boards were nearly upgraded but all of a sudden, came to a stop. Pool has been there with boards for probably 60 years and only in the past few years have seemed to be a problem. Surely it wouldn't take too much in today's technology to extend platforms to required protusion. Not enough public session times either. - John |
