Prince Regent Swimming Complex has a separate diving pool which provided a central diving stage with two adjacent 3m springboards and on either side a 1m springboard. I understand that it is intended to put an adjustable floor into the diving pool and to remove the diving stage. I also understand from a key member of staff that the 1m springboards will also be be removed thus losing Brighton as a diving centre which has over decades had a keen diving following. If this is not news, my apologies. If it is I hope shortly to get an accurate picture of exactly what may be left for diving. - Wally Orner |
