It is the best pool, I learned how to swim here. I hope it is around for a long time!! Thank-you, - Jessica 8th August 2005: Dived here for 8-9 years from 94-2002, my favourite pool! Regardless of Sheffield and Manchester, this is where I grew as a diver! - Dan 19th February 2006: I used to dive here in twenty years ago or so. I attended the GBDF AGM, so went back the following week to enjoy the boards. I was not allowed to any other than a forward take-off half rotation. What a shame! How can British people be safely challenged if this attitude continues! - Ron 28th March 2006: I currently have lessons here, and it's a good pool. It's a friendly atmosphere but it's a shame that unless you bring proof you are not permitted to do much more than a forward dive! My only wish is that it would have more boards but oh well. it's great! - Phil 29th March 2006: I have diving lessons here and I must say my diving instructor is really nice. I think this is a great recreational pool but the lifeguards are really tight as they wont let any public divers do any more than a forward dive. - Emma 26th November 2006: Great facilities, best boards for miles & miles around. Such a shame the attitude is so restrictive. Forward dives only, no somersaults, not even any whacky jumps allowed. How are the kids ever going to learn? Phil - what proof are you talking about? I have plenty of medals but am still only allowed a fwd dive... |
