Coach of the Year 2002
Lindsey Fraser won the CCPR award on 4th December, the awards were presented at the Hotel Intercontinental, London.
The Annual Sportswomen of the Year Awards are in their 13th year and recognise British women's sporting achievements in national and international sport.
Since the CCPR began the awards, in 1989, the Sunday Times have given their support for an event that is considered by many to be one of the sporting highlights of the year.
Lindsey Fraser, a life member of Highgate Diving Club and the Diving Development Officer in Southampton is no stranger to this award, having won it once before; she has been, over the past 20 years, a consistent high achiever, both in competitive terms, as an Olympic Diver, and as the coach of the current Commonwealth Games Highboard Champion and former Junior European Champions. In Southampton, Lindsey has demonstrated her ability to excel, by creating, in a few short years, one of the most successful diving programmes in the country.
Our sincere congratulations go to a wonderful ambassador for our sport.
