Swindon Highworth Petition
The following message has been written by members of TDC Swindon Diving Club, who are facing the prospect of losing their diving boards. As many of you will know, Swindon are a small but very active and successful club, competing at all levels from novice to nationals and masters. Please show your support by printing a copy of the petition and getting signatures from members of your own clubs.

We are members of Swindon's only springboard/highboard diving club. We are petitioning against the decision to remove the diving facilities at Highworth Rec pool once they put the retractable roof on. We have been in talks with the trustees for a number of years in support of raising funds to get the roof. In fact we have done fundraising activities to aid with money!!!
We have now been told that to save costs they are taking out the diving boards, much to our disapproval. We have national standard divers and one international diver who will soon be unable to train as our current facilities at Wroughton are old and cannot house a proper springboard. With our up and coming divers and our national master who has gained bronze in her first national event we can get Swindon and Highworth on the map for national sports achievements.
