Worcester Swimming pool does have the Diving boards available as in they have some there, but I have not seen them in use for some time now because you are not allowed to use them and they are strung off. The Spring Board is actually tied very insecurely in my opinion up vertical on the wall by the Diving area. It could fall on someone which would probably be worse than diving off it. The pool has also got green algae around it in places. You can however dive off the side in the deep end which is better than most because other pools such as Kidderminster do not allow diving at all or jumping in. Diving is good fun if it is done sensibly and in the right place. I am looking for somewhere to dive and when i find a place I shall no longer go to Worcester Swimming pool unless I have to or they open the diving boards properly again. - Andy |
